Michelle Reagan novel 07
A Promise of Lies and Violence
One mole. Two lovers. Three continents. A covert manhunt threatens to escalate into a global conflict between East and West.
A mole in the CIA has sabotaged an undercover operation in Paris, tipping the scales in a geopolitical tug-of-war with China. Covert action operator Michelle Reagan joins forces with counterintelligence expert Caroline van der Pol to root out the traitor. What begins as a routine black-site interrogation erupts into a lethal ambush, thrusting Michelle into a relentless pursuit.
As loyalties shatter and bodies fall, the hunt suddenly changes direction into a high-octane clash between East and West, going in a direction no one saw coming. The new conflict becomes one which could secure the CIA’s greatest clandestine victory in decades, or ignite a shooting war between two great powers.
